New York Giants coach Brian Daboll is the latest member of the NFL to take issue with the tush push. Daboll expressed a ton of frustration in Week 8, after Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts appeared to fumble on the controversial play.

Amid two-plus seasons of losing football, the Brian Daboll era is in dire straits. The prevailing opinion has always been that the New York Giants head coach will retain his post if rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart impresses.

Jaxson Dart scored a 1-yard rushing touchdown with 37 seconds remaining to go ahead, 32-30. But kicker Jude McAtamney’s second missed extra point left the door open for Denver.

The next 10 games have to be Brian Daboll’s final audition for whether or not he is the right head coach to maximize the Jaxson Dart Era. Dart has only started four NFL games, but it certainly looks like the Giants have found the quarterback they can build around for the foreseeable future.
