Tropical Storm Kirk forms while Gulf Coast faces yet another threat
Kirk is one of five tropical systems and disturbances the National Hurricane Center is watching closely. The biggest concern shifts back to the Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico where a large area of low pressure is attempting to organize some shower and thunderstorm activity in the western Caribbean — in nearly the exact same area where Helene was born.
