COLLEGE STATION — After overpowering the LSU Tigers during a night game Saturday in Death Valley, Texas A&M football established itself as a serious national championship contender. As a result, the Aggies remain No. 3 in the US LBM coaches poll and the AP Top 25 poll following the 49-25 win over the Tigers.
BATON ROUGE – Texas A&M quarterback Marcel Reed threw for 202 and rushed for 108 to lead the No. 3 Aggies past LSU, 49-25, on Saturday night in Death Valley. With the loss, LSU falls to 5-3 overall and 2-3 in the SEC. The Tigers return to action on Nov. 8 in Tuscaloosa against Alabama.
