Lucid’s EV is having a pretty good 2025—and its stock flew on Thursday. Wednesday evening, the Lucid reported second-quarter sales of 3,309 vehicles, up 38% year over year, a record for any quarter. For the first half of the year, Lucid deliveries totaled 6,418, up almost 50%. That’s a lot better than Tesla.

Lucid sold 3,309 vehicles in the second quarter, a new record for the EV maker. Still, the company must ramp up production of its Gravity SUV to meet its 2025 target.

Electric automaker Lucid on Wednesday reported a 38% rise in second-quarter deliveries, which, however, missed Wall Street expectations amid economic uncertainty.
