FOXBOROUGH – Mike Vrabel addressed the 2025 Patriots one last time on Tuesday morning and issued a strong message to his players. In his final team meeting, the Patriots coach used a construction analogy while talking about where this team is headed.

The New England Patriots fell short of their ultimate goal — a Super Bowl championship — losing to the Seattle Seahawks, 29-13. MVP runner-up Drake Maye nearly threw for 300 yards in the loss despite Seattle dominating most of the game. Maye operated most of the season with a rag-tag bunch of receivers, led by veteran Stefon Diggs.

Mike Vrabel has managed to defy imagination by securing the best coach award for 2026 by doing something no coach in NFL history has done before: turning a 13‑loss team into a 14–3 powerhouse in his first season with the Patriots and leading them to Super Bowl LX.
