A fan suffered life-threatening injuries when he fell from the stands at PPG Paints Arena during Monday night's game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the St. Louis Blues, Pittsburgh Public Safety said.

Prayers are pouring in on social media after a "horrific" fall at an NHL game on Monday evening.

Penguins coach Dan Muse also addressed the accident after the game, saying that "thoughts and prayers are with him and his family."
