Big Y stores across Connecticut and Massachusetts have issued a recall of Made-To-Order subs, wraps, and paninis, according to a company announcement on the U.S. Food & Drug

A salmonella outbreak in cucumbers prompted Big Y Foods to voluntarily recall made-to-order deli sandwiches sold in some Connecticut stores, the company says.

Spectrum Brands Pet LLC (“SPG”) is voluntarily recalling its Tetra ReptoMin 3-In-1 SELECT-A-FOOD reptile food product intended for aquatic turtles due to potential contamination with Salmonella. The product is packaged in a plastic,

"Upon returning the product to your local Big Y or with the proof of purchase (if the product was discarded), you will receive a full refund," the grocery store said in a statement.

The Federal Drug Administration announced two different tomato recalls affecting 14 states for the possible contamination of Salmonella.
