Boris Becker reveals: 'I was set to coach Jannik Sinner in 2022'
The youngest Wimbledon champion revealed that he was on the verge of becoming Jannik Sinner's coach in 2022 following the Italian's split with Riccardo Piatti. However, his legal troubles in London forced him to step away from the opportunity.
For the first time, Sinner confirmed that Hasanovic is his girlfriend, saying after his victory against Alexander Zverev, “Thank you very much for your support. The work you put in, the effort. Even understanding me is not always easy, but thank you for your commitment. My family, my girlfriend, my friends and even those who follow us from home.”
Jannik bested four rivals in straight sets, arranging the title clash and joining Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic on a notable list. Since the Paris Masters moved to hard court in 2007, these three are the only players to advance into the final without dropping a set.
