Texas A&M used a monster second-half effort to zoom past LSU and move a step closer to the SEC Championship Game. The Aggies scored 35 unanswered points in the second half behind a strong effort from quarterback Marcel Reed to fly past LSU for a historic victory.

The Texas A&M defense suffocated Garrett Nussmeier and the LSU offense, holding the Tigers to just 278 total yards while sacking LSU quarterbacks seven times. The Tigers had just 14 yards in the second half until a 75-yard, garbage-time touchdown drive in the final minutes.
