Apr 5, 2013 · WOW million mile club? That would average out to over 140k miles per year. I suspect it will be another ten years before someone gets close, even then it will be close to a 60K a year average. I got rid of my 2 gen with 346k miles on it still running good.

Jun 30, 2018 · Over on the 4th gen forum there's a thread about high miles. There are many on there with over 300K and several over 400K. I think the highest one on there IIRC had either 600 or 800K on it. I've seen a fair amount of 4runners and Fj's listed online with over 500K.

I know they exist, or, maybe the kind of usage on 4Runners toward the end is not conducive to it lasting Last long (Offroad use, heavy mod).

Mar 18, 2019 · A 500k plus mile vehicle with nothing but basic maintenance. The crown vics were also up there. Worst was the jeep cherokee followed by the new unibody explorer. I’ve tried to convince them to try atleast one 4runner but they’re not having it. Too poor gas mileage I guess.

Jan 31, 2020 · With the exception of the 3vz-fe, most engines put in the 4runner are capable of achieving 1,000,000 miles if they have been properly looked after. The 4runner is a family SUV, so if it reaches that mileage it wont be in a short amount of time like the Tundra.
