Dec 19, 2022 — Of the three, Pikmin 1 is the most unpolished and glitchy but still great despite that, Pikmin2 doesn’t have a day limit and the amount of items you collect make it super satifisying to 100%. You also don’t have Pikmin die randomly to enemies pushing them out of bounds in newer ones. Pikmin 3 strikes a nice balance content wise inbetween.

Nov 1, 2020 — Pikmin 1 is great but it’s the first in the series and also old, so the gameplay is definitely not as tight. But they’re both fantastic games. 1 is short but very replayable, 2 is the longest in the series and has a lot of focus on Combat and exploration with its dungeons. It’s also got the original Piklopedia which is huge bonus points.
