All they need to do is click the Accept button in the email and go to their Microsoft account, Overview page where they can install Office, access their OneDrive storage, and more.

Dec 27, 2021 · There are 4 computers on one family account, all separate members of the family. How do we each get our own one drive on our computers that are private, not sharing our files with other members of the family. We are all adult members, there are no children accounts we need to monitor. I'm getting the impression that I was given bad information.

In case your family are more than 7, I suggest you should buy 2 Microsoft 365 Family plans as it's cheaper than 01 Family plan + 02-or-more Personal plans.

Dec 14, 2024 · Only one Microsoft 365 Family subscription is needed with family member accounts invited into the plan. You cannot sign into the OneDrive sync app with multiple personal accounts. Files are written to a single OneDrive folder per local account. You need to create a separate account for each individual on the PC.
