Mark Twain State Park offers basic and electric campsites, a special-use camping area and a group camp. For a little extra space, try one of the park's family campsites in Puma Campground. You are now able to reserve your Missouri State Parks campsite up to 12 months in advance, expanding from the previous six-month window.

Mark Twain State Park is a 2,775 acre state park located in the Salt River Hills of Monroe County, just over two hours northwest of St. Louis. It was established in 1924 through the efforts of the Mark Twain Memorial Park Association in honor of the famed native Missourian author.
