To see if it was random, i used my 3 different emails to try the House sorting, wand selection, and Patronus. Surprisingly, despite getting different questions each time, i had almost identical results.

While it seems unlikely for the vast majority here, just in case you don’t have backup copies of anything purchased from Pottermore, be sure to download them by the end of the month.

Then, like every other DRM'd ebook, it gets individually converted and encrypted at sync time to the device or app it is intended for. Sep 7, 2012 · FWIW, I'm currently looking at a Japanese-language EPUB3 that I got this afternoon from the Pottermore store. It reads cleanly in the Calibre viewer except that the vertical text is rendered sideways-on. Converts to KF8 as well, though my Kindle 3 and Kindle for PC can't do anything with it.
