Nucor-Yamato Steel Company was formed in 1987 as a joint venture between Nucor and Yamato Kogyo with the goal of operating a steel mini-mill to manufacture wide-flange beams in Blytheville, Arkansas.

Nucor-Yamato has the capability to produce a limited range of special foot-weights and special sections. Non-standard foot- weights will be subject to terms and conditions appropriate to each request.
