The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) was established on May 28, 1975, by the Treaty of Lagos, with a mandate to promote cooperation integration
The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) was established in 1975 and comprises 15 Member States covering an area of 5.1 million km 2 , with a population of 308 million inhabitants as at 2015.
