New PS5 network issues - unable to connect to PS store most of
Sep 16, 2022 · Switch between 2.4 & 5.0 GHZ connections on my PS5, eventually it would load stuff on the store front temporarily. I could still download games through the PS App to my PS5 if I couldn't load the store. Rebuild Database & Clear Cache on the PS5. Would temporarily fix it too.

Apr 1, 2024 · Quick sidenote though - you need to remove any credit/debit cards from your PSN account before you make a purchase on the PS3 store, otherwise the transaction will keep failing. You can add your credit/debit cards back after purchasing.

Japanese store might seem cheap now due to the weak yen (it could get weaker or get stronger and more expensive in the future who knows). But in general games are pretty pricey on the online store. A $70 USD game might be listed for close to ¥10,000. That's just how MSRP for games are here. Sale prices are also lackluster in comparison.
