Dec 2, 2021 · Spirit Airlines | Free Spirit - Spirit website/app down - It's been about 4-5 hours now. The site helpfully has slapped a message saying the site is "performing a system upgrade." In typical Spirit fashion, they just make stuff up. Like they had scheduled a system upgrade for 3 p.m. Eastern Time on a Thursday.

The app does not even allow me to attempt a sign in. I put in my pw and it says the above. It is a six character, all letter password. No issues logging

Jul 19, 2021 · Was offered upgrade in app ~$678. Passed. offer went away once inside window until today now. Mere ~36 hrs before departure. Price now is $550. And the Revenue Management peeps are working it! Just peaked at reservations for tomorrow’s flight 29 hrs from now and the app is offering upgrade for $385 at the moment.

Aug 27, 2023 · Third time I’ve been turned away at the empty airside mobile app line by the tsa agent. Said “you can’t cut the line” even though there’s an American Airlines airside mobile ID sign at the line. What a joke. IME, there is an employee standing there working that line who is supposed to walk you to the front of the pre-check line.
