Aug 1, 2017 · If you want to open and view documents created in later releases of Microsoft Office that use the XML format, upgrading to a supported release might be your only option. Office XP is not even officially supported on Windows 10. Many years ago, Microsoft released a compatibility pack for Office XP, you might try installing that to see if it works.
