Back by popular demand, dinosaurs are returning to the Akron Zoo this summer! DinoTrek will run May 2 – Sept. 8, with a special members-only preview on May 1 for Akron Zoo members. There will be 30 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, an increase from 20 dinosaurs in 2025. This year will feature a total of 23 different species, including returning fan-favorites, such as the Tyrannosaurus rex and Velociraptor, as well as many new species, like the Iguanodon and Ceratosaurus.
