B-17 UPDATE: We have good news to share! EAA’s B-17 Aluminum Overcast is on its way home to Oshkosh. If you recall, the airplane sustained some minor damage when Hurricane Ian made landfall near Punta Gorda, Florida last year where the World War II bomber was parked for an inspection while on tour. Recently, the airplane was taken apart so it could easily travel back home where repairs will be made.
