This video, filmed by Justin Mau on Highway 20 eastbound from Fort Dodge at 3:15PM Thursday, shows just how dangerous conditions have become. Traffic is at a complete standstill, with blowing snow drastically reducing visibility and creating near whiteout conditions at times. If you don’t have to be on the roads, stay put. Conditions can change rapidly, and visibility can drop to near zero in seconds. If you’re traveling, slow down, increase following distance, and be prepared for sudden stops.
