Our Blue Waterholes hit list 📝 As one of only two karst (limestone) systems in Kosciuszko National Park, Blue Waterholes offers a landscape you won't find anywhere else in the mountains. Here are the three spots we like to check out every time we visit: 🔦 Murray Cave: This cave extends 200m into the rock, finishing at a water-filled siphon where the river disappears underground. In periods of extreme drought, the water recedes enough to reveal an extra 300m of explorable cave! 🪨 Cooleman Cave
