The Armed Forces of Malta (AFM) has welcomed Intake 261, consisting of eighty eight new recruits, including seven females. On their first day, the recruits reported to Luqa Barracks at 0700hrs after successfully completing a rigorous selection process, which included: •⁠ ⁠A physical fitness test •⁠ ⁠Military and written assessments •⁠ ⁠An interview •⁠ ⁠A full medical examination During the day, the recruits took the Oath of Allegiance to the People and the Republic of Malta and its Constitution.
