Public Works Director Larry Ogden shares important updates to Valdosta’s sanitation ordinances — taking effect January 1, 2026. Some changes include: Residents can now request an additional rollout can for 8 additional dollars a month. Cameras will be installed in all sanitation vehicles. Garbage will no longer be collected in alleys — pickup must be curbside or streetside.
