12.30.25 | Allerton, Bronx - Shortly after 3am the Bronx dispatch office began receiving numerous calls reporting fire with people trapped at 1166 Burke Avenue within the NYCHA Eastchester Gardens complex. Upon arrival, units discovered a fire on the 4th floor and transmitted a 10-75. Companies were forced to deal with an extremely long hand-stretch, but were able to quickly contain the flames. Unfortunately, one person was found deceased in the fire apartment. No other injuries were reported. #
